Chief Executive Officer - Executive Director

Baskoro Adi is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Manager.  With 15 years of experience at private and state banks, both in Indonesia and Singapore, he is equipped with the acumen to problem-solve and think out of the box.

Baskoro fully comprehends the complexities of investment issues today, particularly sustainability investing issues.  With a degree in urban planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Baskoro segued into providing exceptional financial counselling for clients and devising astute fund structuring. He graduated from INSEAD under the Global Executive MBA program.

Riki Frindos

Non Executive Director

Riki Frindos is Mandiri Investment’s Non Executive Director. He is also the Chair of the Executive Board of KEHATI Foundation. Previously, he had built more than 20 years career in the capital market. He was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Co-Chief Investment Officer (Co-CIO) of Eastspring Investments Indonesia for 6 years since 2011. Prior to that, he was the Investment Director of the Global Asset Allocation team with Eastspring Investments Singapore from 2005 to 2011.

Riki Frindos started his career at Bank Niaga on 1996 and later built his career in the capital market. He was the equity analyst for Ficor Securities and Rifan Securities, and later joined ING Investment Management as Portfolio Manager. After that, he worked for Prudential Life Assurance Indonesia as the Head of Investment from 2002 to 2005.

Riki Frindos graduated from Electrical Engineering Department, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), and also studied Finance at Economics Faculty of Universitas Padjadjaran. Riki Frindos has some international certifications in investment, risk management, ESG, and climate change areas, including CAIA, FRM, CESGA, and SCR.

Budi Akbarsjah

Chief Business Development Officer

Budi Akbarsjah is the Chief Business Development Officer of the Manager. Budi has over 20 years of experience in asset management and is a seasoned professional with expertise in private equity, private credit, hedge funds, venture capital, public equity and debt.

Further, his experience spans over business development, sales, investor relations, product development, middle office operations and financial reporting. His career has taken him across the United States and Singapore, with notable stints at Millennium Management, EnTrust Global, UOB Asset Management, and Indies Capital Partners.

Budi holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya and an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Henry Shaw

Chief Operating Officer

Henry is the Chief Operating Officer and oversee operations, risk management and compliance of the manager. Henry’s tenure with the manager started in 2012 and his roles have included Investments, Fund Operations, Fund Structuring and Risk Management before being promoted to the role of COO. Prior to joining the Manager, Henry worked at HSBC and Citibank.

Henry holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison as well as a MBA in Finance from the University of Toronto.

Kevin Widjaja

Chief Investment Officer

Kevin Widjaja manages all aspects of the group’s investment initiatives. Prior to joining Mandiri Investment Management, Kevin served as a portfolio manager in a boutique asset management firm, overseeing a $200 million portfolio in alternative investments.

Kevin has also worked in Top-Tier Private Banks in Singapore covering the High Net-worth and Ultra High Net-worth individuals.

Kevin Holds a BA in Economics and Finance from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
